In addition, we have added taurine - essential for your cat's heart function, among other things.
The PURE BITES contain 20% fermentation protein - a pioneering, resource-saving source of protein produced by the fermentation of microorganisms.
With over 60% protein content, it offers maximum efficiency with minimum environmental impact - smart, sustainable and scientifically well thought out.
The recipe is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for sensitive cats.
Since fermentation protein is a completely new type of bacterial protein , allergies and cross-reactions are extremely unlikely.
For comparison: The most common food allergens in cats include beef (18%), fish (17 %) and chicken (5 %)* - all proteins that are deliberately not used in the PURE BITES.
This results in a snack that is ideal for selective, sensitive cats - with an innovative protein source that specifically avoids allergenic potential.

Without phosphorus additives of concern

Many conventional feeds rely on inorganic phosphates such as sodium hexametaphosphate or phosphoric acid - substances, which may increase acceptance, but can cause scientifically documented kidney damage** and other health risks.
At VEGDOG we deliberately avoid all inorganic phosphorus additives in our snacks.
