Dog years are human years times seven? This formula is now considered outdated. What is certain is that our best friends age faster than us humans. This is especially true for large dogs. A species-appropriate plant-based diet is needed to keep your furry friend healthy for a long time. Nutrients, proteins and various fats play an essential role in keeping them fit and active in their senior years - and staying that way.
Therefore, together with specialist vets, we have developed a wet food that is tailored to the needs of older animals (from 7 years of age). So your senior can continue to enjoy life with you and romp through the park with the young dogs again!
How our wet food supports your senior dog
SENIOR benefits particularly sensitive stomachs thanks to its good digestibility and suitability for an elimination diet. The optimum calcium-phosphorus ratio is specially designed to meet the changed energy requirements of older animals. Additional taurine also supports the maintenance of heart health.
We use lupin, lentil and pea proteins to adequately cover the protein requirement. This strengthens your furry friend's muscles with an ideal amino acid profile. Millet and carrots support the function of the joints with their nutrients. The mineral powder we have developed provides other important nutrients such as vitamin B12, taurine and carnitine. Peas, zucchinis and sunflower seeds add flavor and meaning to our senior food.
