Ingredients for your Halloween treat
A simple basic recipe for your furry friend is easy to put together. You need the following ingredients:
- 100 g rolled oats
- 100 g HokkaidoPumpkin
- 50 g soft dates (or previously soaked in water)
- 30 g courgette
- 200 g Tetra Pak ADULT
- 2 g cinnamon
Baking step by step
- Grind the oats: Put the oats in a blender and grind them until they have a fine, flour-like consistency.
- Cook and puree the pumpkin: Peel and dice the Hokkaido pumpkin and cook it in a pan of water until it is soft. Then process into a fine puree.
- Puree the dates and zucchini: If the dates are too firm, soak them in warm water beforehand, squeeze them out and then puree them together with the zucchini in a blender until smooth.
- Mix the ingredients: Mix the ground oats, the zucchini and date puree, the pumpkin puree, the contents of the Tetra Pak and the cinnamon in a large bowl. Knead everything well until you have a malleable mixture.
- Shaping the balls: Shape the mixture into about 20 small balls.
- Baking: Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 90 °C (fan oven) for approx. 30 minutes.
- Cool: Remove the balls from the oven, allow to cool thoroughly - and then enjoy!
