Conditions of participation
VEGDOG x microharvest Award "Germany's most dog-friendly workplace 2025"
1. Veranstalter
The organizers of the award are: younikat GmbH (Vegdog) Am Weißbach 66, 82396 Pähl, Germany and MicroHarvest Jürgen-Töpfer-Straße 50, 22763 Hamburg, Germany.
2. eligibility
2.1 The following are eligible to participate:
- Companies, organizations and institutions of any size based in Germany that allow dogs in the workplace
- Private individuals residing in Germany who work with their dog in the home office or at another workplace
2.2 In the case of companies, registration is carried out by authorized employees or managing directors. Private individuals register themselves.
2.3 Employees of younikat GmbH and MicroHarvest, their relatives and persons involved in the conception and implementation of the award are excluded from participation.
2.4 Only one application per company/organization/person is permitted.
2.5 Only persons of legal age (18 years and over) are eligible to participate.
3. Participation and application procedure
3.1 The award runs from 04.11.2025 to 23.11.2025 in the submission phase (23:59 each night).
3.2 Applications can only be submitted via the official award website [www.vegdog.de/award].
3.3 The following documents must be submitted for full participation:
- Completed online application form
- 1-3 informative photos of the dog-friendly workplace (office or home office)
- Short description of the dog-friendly measures or of everyday working life with a dog (max. 500 words)
- Optional: Video (max. 60 seconds) to present the dog-friendly work culture or home office setup
- Confirmation of the conditions of participation
3.4 Incomplete applications or applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered
4. Auswahlverfahren
4.1 An expert jury consisting of employees of Vegdog and MicroHarvest will select the winners from all submissions.
4.2 The jury's decision will be made on 24.11.2025.
4.3 Evaluation criteria of the jury:
- Dog-friendly infrastructure and facilities
- Company policy and regulations (for companies) or work organization (for private individuals)
- Safety and health concept
- Team integration and workplace culture or Integration of the dog into everyday working life
- Creativity and special measures
4.4 The jury's decision is final. Legal recourse is excluded.
5. Prizes and awards
5.1 Main prizes:
- 1st place: year's supply of 20 packs of Pure bites + 1 basket + 1 bowl
- 2nd place: 10 packs of Pure bites + 1 bowl
- 3rd place: 5 packs of Pure bites + 1 bowl
5.2 The prizes will be awarded to both companies and private individuals. If prizes are awarded to companies, they will be given to the company for internal use.
5.3 The prizes cannot be paid out in cash or exchanged for other prizes.
5.4 If the prize cannot be made available for a reason that is predominantly within the control of the winner, the Organizers reserve the right not to distribute the prize to the winner and to select another winner, in particular if the winner does not respond to the prize notification within 14 days.
5.5 The Organizers reserve the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal value if the original prize is not available.
5.6 The prizes will be sent by the organizers or by a third party commissioned by the organizers by forwarding agent, parcel service or post to the postal address to be provided by the winner. Delivery is free of charge within Germany. Any additional transportation costs and customs duties shall be borne by the winner.
5.7 The claim to the prize or prize compensation cannot be assigned.
6. Determination and announcement of winners
6.1 The winners will be notified by email by 11.25.2025, 11:59 pm.
6.2 The public announcement will be made without guarantee via the following channels:
- On the award website
- On Vegdog & MicroHarvest social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
- In Vegdog and MicroHarvest Newsletter
- Through press releases to relevant media
6.3 An award ceremony can take place digitally or on site.
7 Marketing and rights of use
7.1 By participating, participants grant the organizers the right to use the submitted materials (photos, videos, texts) for the following purposes:
- Presentation on the award website and in social media
- Use in press releases and PR activities
- Integration in Vegdog and MicroHarvest marketing materials and newsletters
- Documentation of the award and future award application
7.2 This includes the right to reproduce, distribute, make available to the public, broadcast, as well as the right to edit, transform and shorten, insofar as this is necessary for the aforementioned purposes.
7.3 The rights of use granted are unlimited in terms of time and territory and are limited in terms of content to the promotion of the Award and related marketing activities of the Organizers (in accordance with 7.1).
7.4 By uploading and submitting the material (photos/videos), the participant declares to be the sole owner of the rights of use and exploitation of the submitted works or to have effectively acquired the necessary rights from third parties (z.B. photographers, filmed persons).
8. Datenschutz
8.1 Personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of conducting the Award, communicating with participants and winners in accordance with the Vegdog Privacy Policy: [Link]. The submitted materials are also processed for marketing purposes in accordance with section 7.
8.2 The entrant warrants that he/she has obtained all necessary declarations of consent (in particular publication and exploitation rights or The participant shall indemnify the organizer against all claims asserted by third parties due to the use of the submitted works if these claims are based on a violation of the aforementioned assurances. The entrant indemnifies the organizer against all third-party claims asserted due to the use of the submitted works if these claims are based on a breach of the aforementioned warranties.
8.3 Newsletter registrations are made with separate consent and can be revoked at any time.
8.4 The data collected for the award will be deleted after the award has been presented and all legal obligations have been fulfilled. This does not affect the materials submitted in accordance with Section 7 under Right of Use.
9. Haftungsausschluss
9.1 Vegdog and MicroHarvest assume no liability for:
- Technical malfunctions of the website
- Loss or delayed delivery of messages
- Damage caused by the use of the winnings
- Disputes between participants
9.2 The Organizers shall only be liable for any damage incurred by a Participant as a result of accepting or using the prize in the event of intent or gross negligence.
9.3 The organizers are only liable for damages caused by the organizers or one of their vicarious agents intentionally or through gross negligence or through the negligent breach of obligations that are essential for achieving the purpose of the contract. The above limitations of liability do not apply to damage caused by injury to life, limb and/or health or to liability under the Product Liability Act.
10. Changes and early termination
10.1 Vegdog and MicroHarvest reserve the right to cancel, postpone or adjust the conditions of the Award at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons.
10.2 There is no legal entitlement to the implementation of the Award.
11. Exclusion from participation
11.1 Vegdog and MicroHarvest reserve the right to exclude participants who:
- Violate these conditions of participation
- make false statements
- Using dishonest means to participate
- Violating applicable law
11.2 In case of violation, awards already granted may be revoked.
12. Schlussbestimmungen
12.1 German law shall apply.
12.2 Should individual provisions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
12.3 Recourse to the courts is excluded.
